Give up the thanks!

Today is Thursday. It is also Thanksgiving, if you were some-how miss-informed (?). The most epic day of eating in America. Maybe. Buffets are up there though. Though the Thanksgiving meal and the Snoopy movie are big parts and tradition, the most important thing is the thanks. So, when you're laying on your living room floor barely able to roll around in agony, holding that last slice of pumpkin pie in your hand, trying to see over your fat belly to watch the football game....remember that there are people out there who don't have a great meal to eat, a nice floor to lay painfully on, or an old TV to watch. In fact, some of those people will more then likely be spending the night under an over-pass, over an under-pass, in the dumpster, in a stolen shopping kart...yeah. You get the picture. I'm just saying be thankful for what you do have. Things like a good family, good food, good friends, football ( :P ), (my blog...?). If you don't have any of those things, still be thankful that you have a dumpster to keep out the wind. Ok that was a cheap-shot at homeless guys, yes.
But yeah that's my message for the day take it how you will :). Today has been pretty good for me so far; ate an amazing meal, watched some disappointing football (anyone who likes Matt Stafford and/or the Lions will know what I mean), watched a so-so movie, and am now blogging. I guess the number one thing I'm thankful for this year, well this day really, is that I don't have to do the dishes! Haha eat it little brother! Nah I kid. Honestly though, I don't know yet. I suppose the main things:
A great God and Father who loves us and gives us what we need to have a day like this. All of the soldiers serving out of country who couldn't be home with their families. The internet :P (sorry couldn't resist). The fact that we live in a free country...for the most part that is. No I can't be too disliking of where I live. At least we're not China where we wouldn't be able to do what when want when we want to do it. Things may change in the future so we should be grateful of what we have now. I don't know what are you thankful of?
Ok another thing. Tomorrow is the craziest shopping day of the year. I mean come on. Its practically a holiday of its own. Black Friday. Oh I guess the day after Christmas is a pretty big shopping day. Well I guess everyone's taking their stuff back to the stores so would that be an anti-shopping day? Either way tomorrow should be fun. Might find some good deals. Also I just want to send a shout-out to all the people who have to work in a store where there are bound to be psychopathic shoppers. Whether its a Super Walmart or a hole-in-the-wall gas-station in the middle of Wyoming, well, keep your cool! Actually the more I think of it everyone in Wyoming does work in a gas-station!
Well that's all that's been happening in my life, I hope your's is more eventful. Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving, save some money tomorrow, and enjoy a snow-less November!
