Blog newbie

OK, so this is officially the first blog post of my new blog. So I suppose that I should write some random, possibly boring/funny/annoying/awesome things about my boring/funny... life. Well, cool things of note that have happened in the past, oh I don't know, fifteen years! No, but really. One cool thing, was that last night, Friday, I had a basketball game with the Christian school in Aberdeen. Anyway, the town that my team was playing, is located about three hours from my home. Thus, road-trip. So on the way down, my team-mates and I talked and laughed about lots of different random things. Imagine Justin Bieber and COD in the same five minutes of talking. That's Call Of Duty, for all you pacifist, anti-video game, home-schoolers out there.
Needless to say, we get to McIntosh with most of our brain cells still in tact. And no, their team mascot is not an Apple. The funny thing though, was that we arrived like a half of an hour early. Ultimate dance party in the locker room anyone!?! After getting insanely pumped up to the amazing John Wall song (http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/search/song?q=troop%2041), we finally were allowed on the court to warm up. You see, the McIntosh girls' team were having a practice before our game, so they didn't want us on the court watching them. Once warm ups were over, the game started. I started (does the John Wall move), along side four other JV all-stars. That's Junior Varsity, for all you none-competition, none organized athletics home-schoolers.
Home school jokes are so much better if you are actually home schooled  :P
After an awesomely fun game, the game was tied with about ten seconds on the clock in the fourth quarter. Our main JV point guard passed the ball across the three point line into the post to one of our amazing centers. The freshman beast banked in the shot with four seconds on the clock. The other team inbounded the ball, threw up a prayer, and hit the top of their backboard. We won the game by two, after a tough struggle on offence and defense. The varsity game came right after the JV game finished. We played alright, though we could have done better, and the game was forced to go into over-time. After the given four minutes, we lost by I think three points. I was so tired last night that I forgot most of the details. After the game, and after our team hit the concession stand, we hit the road like a heard of turtles on steroids. I didn't sleep at all, and managed to stay awake for the entire three hour drive across the frozen north land. Lots of Lecrae and iPod touch games later, I was in my warm bed, working my body and mind into the land of sweet sleep.
So there you have it. The first blog post of 'Curly', thus dubbed by my crazy team-mates. I am a blogging noob, but I will never learn to be good any younger.
    Until next time, y'all!
