I am officially back! I was on a sort of computer using pause, thus the non-posting. Not like anything really cool happened in my absence anyway, but whatever. Well, maybe a couple of things. My basketball team played a few more games, and we are now five and three for varsity, and four and three for JV. In fact, on Tuesday we had a game in Faulkton. I started, and I finished the game with six points a few rebounds, a few steals, and a couple assists. The only thing, was that the other team was not very good at all, and so we pretty much schooled them. Thus, everyone playing better than they normally would. One of the best parts of that game, was that Cole got to play. You see, Cole has never played a JV game, and this was the first time. He didn't really do anything, but he was an inspiration. Oh, and now our team is doing something fun for the ride down and back to the away games. Ultimate Mario Cart games anyone? Basically everyone brought their DSs', and we all joined a game and raced. Lots of trash talking and fun.
A DS is a hand-held video game created by Nintendo, for all of you home-schoolers, or people to 'cool', to play those games.
Another cool thing that happened was that I had a birthday. Sweet sixteen y'all! Well, we really didn't do anything for my 'special day', mainly because half of my family forgot... :P Not like I'm bitter or anything. I'm really not though. Not having to do school was pretty good, and our family really doesn't do anything anyway for birthdays, so I don't feel too unloved. In other news; my two younger brothers and my mom went to Kansas over the weekend, and just came back Sunday night. The boys had a swim meet there, and I had a game here, so we had to split up. The boys did OK, but not as good as they would have liked. Aaaaaaand, while they were gone, my sister and I stayed up till like one, watching the most epically awesome movie ever. And no, it was not LOTR.
That's Lord of the Rings, for all you uninformed goofs who still think that John Wayne is the bomb.
We watched 'Salt'. The espionage action suspense thriller staring Angelina Jolie. That last sentence alone should be enough to make you see the film. Anywho, the movie was simply amazing, once you get past the unending violence. It was so good, in fact, that Indi and I had to watch it again with our dad the next day. If you don't like violence, however, you may want to watch an old John Wayne. But, if you can handle a skinny white chick beating the living snot out of trained government agents toting machine guns, then watch the movie. I thought it was great, and I was never bored during the watching.
Well, I should go do something productive. If you ever have a spare hour and a half, watch Salt. You won't regret it.
